Austin is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Austin peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Worth the wait. My waiter john mark i believe his name is was fun. Bella the hostress seemed nice. And i was blessed by a stranger who paid for my meal for being a veteran. Lady next to me prayed over her meal. Talk to some customers outside during our wait. Freindly staff and friendly customers. And the food was great.

We went for breakfast for the first time and found a lot of options to eat in veg and non veg. The host had us seated and offered coffee and water We placed only one order to check for the taste and quantity. The food was freshly made and the server did some alterations as per our needs which was awesome. I love the vibes , the food. A must go place to binge. Great service and will come back for more.

I ordered their famous gingerbread and cornmeal pancakes. I also chef’s special steak omelet. I was not a fan a gingerbread pancake but their cornmeal pancake is one thing that I will go back for. Their steak omelet was the best I have ever had! The lady who took care of us was amazing. The only issue with this place is that they charge too much for a coffee that is not anything special. They had a patio so, I could take my dog with me.

It was a 30min wait around 10am on a Sunday morning, not terrible for one of the main bunch spots on South Congress. Plus free coffee with a bar out back, and a gift shop next door full of fun quirky things. Their intercom system makes it very easy to hear your name, regardless of where you go while waiting. Apparently it operates like a diner, with 24 hour take out, and has a extensive menu of everything under the sun. So huge that it was a little difficult to navigate to the multiple brunch sections, but great that its very non-gluten/vegan friendly. We started off with the Mag Mud (chips + queso/bean/avo dip). Chips were OK, but cheese was so warm & tasty... but it was a huge portion that doesn't work well as leftovers, and not something I couldn't make at home. We also ordered a Love Migas (tofu scramble with spicy garlic sauce + tortilla) and a Egg Zapatino (eggs & cheese on english muffin + potatos). I was a little disappointed in my scramble, partly full from chips, and partly because alot of the ingredients & southwest flavors were similar to the appetizer. Plus I could barely taste the spicy garlic at all. Husband seemed to enjoy his Zapatino alot more, but wasn't able

We were visiting Texas and stopped here because we saw them on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives a long time ago and we have the DDD books. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable! The prices are very reasonable! If you are in the area, definitely check them out!
